La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony are doing their best to put on a united front amid claims that Melo fathered twins in London.
The “Power” star attended their 14-year-old son Kiyan’s basketball game in Miami alongside the Portland Trail Blazer’s power forward. Things appeared to be nothing short of amicable during the game, as the parents smiled and chatted together.
Last week it was revealed that La La filed for divorce amid reports that her estranged husband fathered twins with another woman.
La La and Carmelo have been married for 11 years. The pair have split and reconciled more than once but have always managed to remain civil publicly.
La La has not publicly dated anybody during their breakups.
During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, the unnamed woman alleges she met Carmelo last year in New York. She says they remained in contact and spoke “almost every day,” before finally meeting and becoming intimate.
The woman also had the audacity to claim that La La was out in these streets.
She says she did not feel bad about sleeping with the married athlete because she “who’s f*cking LaLa too!” The woman said that she initially agreed to terminate the pregnancy but needed a medical termination which would require somebody to attend with her. Melo did not turn up.
She says the pair agreed that she would have the twins in Britain to avoid any controversy. She also says he decided to support her and the children financially but that he does not want to publicly acknowledge them or have a relationship with them.
Carmelo just completed his 18th season in the NBA, his second with the Trail Blazers. He has averaged 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists on 42.1% shooting and 40.9% from three in 69 games but is set to become a free agent this offseason.
