Megan Thee Stallion is bringing her signature energy to Broadway as she prepares to take the stage in Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
The three-time Grammy winner shared an inside look at her rehearsal process, giving fans a glimpse of her dressing room, costume, and the theatre where she will perform.
In a recent post, Megan showed her dramatic costume topped with a black hat and provided a brief tour of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre seating, highlighting where the audience will watch her bring the iconic role of Zidler to life. This month, Megan will officially join the cast, adding “Broadway actor” to her already impressive résumé.
The 31-year-old artist will make history as the first-ever female-identifying performer to play Zidler in any Moulin Rouge! production worldwide. The role, historically cast as male, represents a significant shift in the show’s casting. Megan expressed her excitement, saying that stepping onto the Broadway stage is “an absolute honor” and that she looks forward to showing her fans a new side of her as she embraces the discipline and storytelling demands of theatre.
Producer Carmen Pavlovic also welcomed Megan to the production, calling her a “true global superstar” whose influence on music and culture is undeniable.
Megan Thee Stallion will perform as Zidler at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City from March 24 through May 17, offering fans the chance to see her historic Broadway debut.
