Radio personality Miss Jones sat down for an interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs,” where she alluded to a surprising tryst.
“I’m gonna tell you about the party. So Pac came and we’re walking and it’s like the music stops. Everyone else hears the music, but I’m with Monie and he stops and he looks at us and then…so like we know what the look means and we figure it out and it was a good night and that was it,” she said.
But then, when Jones was asked whether Pac and Monie got it together, she appeared to backtrack.
“Well no,” Jones replied. “It was just the three of us, the three of us just talked for a long time.”
But judging from her tone, Miss Jones knew that she had shared too much.
N.O.R.E shared the clip, captioning the post: “I didn’t understand at first !!!! Cause I wasn’t ready !!! What exactly do you think @MissJonesOfficial saying?”
The news may not be entirely shocking for Monie Love fans. Back in 2018, she revealed to “Yo! MTV Raps” host Ed Lover that she and 2Pac slept together. She said that they did not have a relationship.
In an interview with Hip-Hop Politics, Monie shared that she never compromises when it comes to her career.
“I do not compromise,” she says, “but in general for my generation a lot of us do compromise.”
She continued, “We are so fixed on remaining in the 18 to 34 bracket or even younger that we end up not focusing much on the 34 end of it. Many of us are paying much more attention to the 13 or 14-year-old age bracket and do not realize that it is not our audience and they aren’t really interested. It’s crazy that a lot of the kids are fixed on a lot of the snap dancing and all of that, but you put on some “boom bap” sh*t on, they do not know what to do. They do not know how to dance to it. It’s the craziest thing to watch because it’s like, “Oh my God!” This came out before the snapping. The “boom bap” came first. It just bugs me out how these little white kids know about Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones and Def Leopard.
