Larger-than-life reality star Nene Leakes has set the record straight on swirling rumors about the shape of her nose.
In a fiery video message shared over Thanksgiving, Nene denied undergoing any recent cosmetic procedures, including Botox and explained that her fresh-faced look was all thanks to skilled makeup techniques.
“People be tripping,” Nene began, addressing her critics head-on. “They are like, ‘What happened to your face?’ What happened to yours? Nothing happened to my face!” The star then added with her signature sass, “The forehead is very wrinkled. Let’s be clear. While they claim Botox, ain’t a thing going on over here. Just a contoured nose.”
This declaration is particularly interesting because Nene has been refreshingly candid in the past about her cosmetic enhancements. Unlike many celebrities, the reality TV star has never shied away from discussing her journey with plastic surgery.
In interviews over the years, she’s openly shared her reasons for going under the knife. In 2020, NeNe Leakes came clean about going under the knife following months of speculation.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed she had three surgeries done in between “RHoA” seasons, and this was after she had implanted veneers in 2009 so her “smile would be beautiful.”
In 2022, Nene Leakes announced that she is a brand ambassador for Georgia Plastic Surgery and a Dr. Okoro. She mentioned this led to her choice of liposuction, particularly “liposuction 360.”
At the time, she shared that her surgeries weren’t purely cosmetic; they also addressed medical concerns related to breathing. However, in her recent video, Nene made it clear that there hasn’t been any recent work done. “It ain’t a pinched nose,” she clarified, dismissing rumors of further tweaks.
