North West had festivalgoers doing double takes after making a surprise appearance at Rolling Loud in Orlando this weekend. The 12-year-old stepped onto the stage during Molly Santana’s set on Saturday night, giving fans one of the festival’s most talked-about moments.
Fresh off the release of her debut EP, North joined the 21-year-old rapper onstage and performed what appeared to be an unreleased collaboration between the two. Videos from the performance quickly spread online as fans reacted to North confidently taking the mic in front of a packed Rolling Loud crowd.
The surprise performance added another viral moment to an already eventful weekend at the Orlando music festival, which featured performances from artists including Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, and Karrahbooo.
But this year’s Rolling Loud experience has stretched beyond music performances alone. During Saturday’s festivities, the festival also debuted the trailer for its upcoming comedy film, Rolling Loud, inside Camping World Stadium.
The movie stars Owen Wilson as an overly protective father trying to reconnect with his teenage son by helping him sneak into the festival. According to details shared during the trailer debut, the storyline follows the pair after they become separated inside the chaotic festival grounds, leading to a wild adventure as they try to find each other again.
The cast also includes Matt Rife, Christian Convery, and Christine Ko. Organizers revealed that the film blends scripted comedy with footage captured during the real-life atmosphere of Rolling Loud Miami in 2025.
The movie is also expected to feature appearances from several major hip-hop artists, including Sexyy Red, Travis Scott, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Ty Dolla Sign.
Still, one of the biggest conversations coming out of the festival remains North West’s appearance. Between her debut EP and now a Rolling Loud performance, fans are watching closely to see what the young star does next as she continues stepping further into the music spotlight.
