A New York woman is going viral after posting a comical yet brutally honest video about her day-to-day experiences living in New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) apartments.
The video compilation, shared on Instagram by user @blu.nova.exotics, takes viewers on a tongue-in-cheek tour of her reality, filled with mould, broken elevators, and rodent problems — all described with her recurring punchline: “real ghetto, real ratchet, real NYCHA.”
In the now-viral clip, the woman jokingly narrates her routine, from stepping out of a mold-stained shower to hauling trash down 12 flights of stairs due to broken elevators. She points out urine in elevators, roaches in her apartment, and even her cat’s unofficial role in catching mice.
