Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), a former litigator and emerging star within the Democratic Party, is renowned for her unapologetic style and sharp rhetorical skills.
Recently, she turned her fiery criticism towards her fellow Democrats, condemning them for their perceived betrayal of President Joe Biden.
Crockett, who gained attention for her pointed comments in Congress, has now focused her talents on criticizing Democrats she believes are inadvertently aiding the MAGA movement by turning against Biden following his lackluster debate performance.
She argues that Democrats should channel their energy towards fighting the real threat — MAGA Republicans.
“If Dems found half as much energy to attack MAGA, the real threat, then we’d be good,” Crockett posted on X.
As some Democrats express doubt about Biden’s viability for the 2024 presidential race, Crockett calls for unity and strategic thinking.
She questions the practicality of replacing Biden at this stage, highlighting the logistical and financial challenges involved:
“For all the geniuses out there who think someone else would be better… 1) explain to me who it is, 2) how they get on the ballot in all 50 states, 3) how they get the money and apparatus together to get this done in 4 months (the over 100 million Biden has on hand doesn’t transfer), 4) how we explain that a random person has been selected… subverting the votes that were cast, because of bad polls.”
Crockett admonishes her party for seeking perfection while Republicans pursue destruction. She urges Democrats to focus their efforts on addressing Project 2025 and the Supreme Court’s actions, which she believes threaten the foundations of democracy.
“USE YOUR ENERGY ADDRESSING PROJECT 2025 & the fact that this Supreme Court has laid the foundation to finalize the full destruction of our democracy!” Crockett warns.
