In a fiery new Instagram post that’s gaining traction online, political commentator Danielle Moodie is calling out what she sees as a disturbing pattern of misdirection by President Donald Trump.
This time, she is raising concerns about recent escalations following the deployment of the National Guard in Los Angeles, sweeping government firings, and Supreme Court decisions.
“What is Trump trying to distract us from?!? Stay woke!” Moodie wrote in the caption of her video post, urging followers to question the timing and implications of recent political developments.
In her video, Moodie accuses Trump of “weaponizing the U.S. military and the National Guard against civilians” amid heightened tensions in Los Angeles. But she suggests that this very public move could be a smokescreen for more concerning actions happening under the radar.
“Every time Donald Trump is up to something, there’s a whole lot of other mess that is happening,” Moodie says.
She points to the recent firing of 17 members of the CDC’s Vaccination Advisory Board by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., describing the move as a direct blow to medical expertise in public health policy.
“These are the very people with medical and science degrees who advise on what kind of immunizations Americans need,” she explains. “There was a meeting scheduled for the end of the month to discuss upcoming vaccinations. Now? Fired.”

Moodie also highlights a warning from the World Bank, which says the ongoing U.S. trade war could lower living standards domestically, even if it doesn’t trigger a global recession.
“It probably will [trigger one] in the United States,” she pointed out.
And in another startling instance, Moodie references a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that she says “gave DOGE access to our Social Security numbers and privacy data.”
With all of these actions unfolding nearly simultaneously, Moodie urges Americans to pay close attention: “Stay woke. Ask questions. Connect the dots.”
Her post has generated a truckload of comments, with many agreeing with her and praising her vigilance.
“Evidence is coming out re the faulty election results. He doesn’t want us following up and doing anything about it,” someone alleged
Another commentator urged her on, saying:
