After “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Marlo Hampton accused her of jealousy, Kenya Moore used her appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” to clap back.
“Jealous? That’s really silly,” Kenya told Michael Rapaport. “I’m an icon, she’s an ex-con. Why would I be jealous?”
Kenya then accused Marlo of trying to be the next NeNe Leakes.
“You’ll never fill those shoes, so just stay in your lane,” Kenya said. “Or, you know, behind your bars.”
Sheree Whitfield has returned to the show, much to the delight of the fans.
“I’m happy we’re friends again,” she remarked. “She’s my neighbor, like, literally I can throw a stone and hit her back window. So, I need to be friends with her because I might need some brown sugar.”
Kenya also addressed Marlo, calling her a “jealous hater” and a “has been” during a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”
“A has been? I guess I am a has been. I have been a former Miss USA, a college graduate, a beautiful mother of a daughter that’s great. I’ll take a has-been all day long, honey. Let’s not go to my resume. Let’s check hers. I’d rather be a has-been than a never was,” she declared.
Since appearing on “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” Kenya has become one of the most-loved Housewives across the franchise.
On the spinoff, she forged close friendships with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice.
“I talk to Teresa all the time [but] she didn’t tell me she took it,” Kenya explained. “She’s always traveling so I don’t know if it was my trip or something else. But I love her. I love them together. They just touch me. I just love their show of affection and how dedicated they are together,” she said.
Season 14 of the ” Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
