Scottie Beam and Sylvia Obell have announced the news of her new show, “Get You A Me,’ debuting on Netflix next week.

In the show, Scottie and bestie Sylvia will be giving men advice on how to land women like them — and just in time for cuffing season!

“Cuffing szn is in full swing and your faves @scottiebeam & @sylviaobell are here to help these bachelors become eligible to #GetYouAMe,” Strong Black Lead’s tweet reads.

Love isn’t easy, but we know we’re all in good hands after tuning in to them dish out their sage advice via Strong Black Lead‘s “Okay, now Listen,” podcast.

From her gig at Hot 97, supporters have been heavily invested in Scottie Beam’s journey. From landing Nike endorsements to Freddie Gibb’s naming a rap song after her — it’s been an amazing ride.

However, navigating a male-dominated industry has not been without its barriers.

“I’m going to be completely honest, I’m still not comfortable in my skin,” “Black Coffee’s” Marc Lamont Hill in 2019. “I’ve learned to embrace it, I’ve learned to accept it. But to be comfortable? Um, that’s something I think [with] therapy, that I’m working through. I have to be completely honest and vulnerable,” she revealed.

“I even had pink lipgloss on today and I had to take it off, because I always learned through microgressions or small things people will say, where they’ll say, ‘Dark skin women aren’t supposed to wear light lipstick,’ or whatever it is. So I never do.”

Two years on, Scottie and Sylvia are beaming with self-love and acceptance — and are showing men how they can land a melanin Goddess… for keeps.

The “Get You A Me” limited series debuts on Strong Black Lead’s “Still Watching Netflix” YouTube channel on Tuesday, Nov 9, at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET.
