Sexyy Red has made it clear that she will not endorse Donald Trump, despite previous speculations about her association with the MAGA leader.

Rumors surfaced that Sexyy Red might perform at Donald Trump’s Atlanta event on Saturday, August 3, following Megan Thee Stallion’s appearance at Kamala Harris’ Georgia State Convocation Center rally on Tuesday, July 30.

Sexyy Red has had a controversial affiliation with Donald Trump.

The St. Louis rapper created quite a stir at the Roots Picnic in 2024 when she performed wearing a giant, inflatable MAGA hat as part of her stage setup.

Many fans believed that the prop, which altered Trump’s well-known slogan to “Make America Sexyy Again,” was unofficial support for the Republican presidential candidate.

In response,  the “Get It Sexyy” rapper distanced herself from getting behind any politician.
She tweeted on June 3, “I’m my own candidate. I’m not endorsing anybody, period.”

Before that episode, Sexyy Red expressed her support for the former President on the podcast. This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von in 2023. She asserted that because Trump released Black inmates from prison and gave stimulus payments during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hood loves him.

“I like Trump. Yeah, they support him in the hood. At first, I don’t think people (were) fking with him. They thought he was racist, saying little st against women,” she explained.

However, despite positive comments about Trump, Sexyy Red will not perform at the former President’s rally.

Social media started to buzz with rumors that the “Pound Town” rapper would be making a contentious appearance at the former President’s political function.

The speculation was fueled by a tweet from @TheePopFeed, which claimed, “Sexyy Red is rumored to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential rally this Saturday, August 3, in Atlanta, Georgia.”

However, according to Sexyy Red, those claims are false.

In response, Sexyy Red took to social media to refute the claim, stating, “Dey fakin dats cap.”

What do you think? Would Sexyy Red perform or not?
