Olympic gymnastics icon Simone Biles continued her role as her husband Jonathan Owens’ biggest fan, traveling in style to Detroit on Thanksgiving to cheer him on during the Chicago Bears’ game against the Detroit Lions.
Biles, 27, shared glimpses of her journey on Instagram, posting clips of herself and friend Torrie Brown raising beer cups aboard a private jet.
In one post, she captioned the moment, “otw to detroit for some Thanksgiving football,” accompanied by football emojis.
Another image showed the decorated gymnast posing with makeup bags and a bottle of champagne, with the playful caption, “im just a girl.”
The Thanksgiving matchup ended in a tight 23-20 loss for the Bears, marking their sixth consecutive defeat this season and bringing their record to 4-8.
Despite the outcome, Biles remained a supportive presence for Owens, 29, who plays as a safety for the team.
The star couple, known for their public displays of affection and unwavering support for each other, has been spotted frequently at games.
On November 24, Biles was seen beaming from the sidelines after a major play by Owens during the Bears’ match against the Minnesota Vikings. The pair also shared a kiss on the field, delighting fans.
Off the field, the couple enjoys their downtime together. On November 8, Biles shared snaps from a romantic date night, showcasing the duo in matching black outfits and an elegant dining experience.
Biles and Owens’ love story began in March 2020, with their paths first crossing months earlier when Biles led Owens’ former team, the Houston Texans, out of the tunnel during a December 2019 game.
The couple married in April 2023 in Houston before hosting a second celebration in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
