“I didn’t kill anyone.” These are the chilling words uttered by wig-making TikTok influencer Miriam Yarimi just days after a horrific crash in Brooklyn claimed the lives of a mother and her two young daughters and left a 4-year-old boy fighting for his life.
The tragic crash unfolded like a scene no one ever wants to witness. Yarimi, 32, allegedly sped down a Brooklyn street in her Audi A-3, her license already suspended, before rear-ending a Toyota Camry and barreling into a crosswalk. That’s where she struck Natasha Saada, 34, and her three children: Diana, 8, Deborah, 5, and little Philip, just 4 years old.
Only Philip survived. Barely. He remains in critical condition.
Miriam Yarimi, whose wig tutorials once pulled in thousands of likes and comments, now finds herself facing three counts of criminally negligent homicide, manslaughter, and assault in the second degree, as well as several other charges.
And she wasn’t even supposed to be behind the wheel.
Miriam Yarimi remains in the hospital and is currently undergoing a psychiatric assessment, which is why she participated in a virtual arraignment.
The 32-year-old individual did not submit a plea. The judge stated that the evaluation needs to be finalized before a grand jury can review the charges for an indictment. The judge refused to grant her bail, and she continues to be held in custody.
According to the prosecutors, The influencer reportedly sobbed and repeated that she “didn’t kill anyone,” “I have the devil in my eye,” “I need a whole work-up to get whatever is in my body,” and “Where’s my daughter?” despite police reports and eyewitness statements that paint a very different picture.

Authorities reported that Yarimi was operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Further charges suggested she was exceeding the speed limit and did not yield after stopping at a red light, resulting in a collision with another car and then striking a family crossing the street.
She was driving with a suspended license.
She was allegedly speeding.
She rear-ended another car before mowing down a family in a crosswalk.
Yet still—she says she’s haunted, not guilty.
The NYPD didn’t mince words. Commissioner Jessica Tisch said:
“This is extremely concerning and painful, not only to the City of New York in general, but specifically to a very close knit community,” Adams said. “A mother gone for a simple stroll on a sunny day was struck and killed. As we pray for their families and this entire community, the city mourns this loss.”
