According to reports, the couple is quite stressed about A$AP Rocky’s firearm assault case from his former best friend A$AP Relli.
A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, could be facing jail time after his trial in early January for firing a semiautomatic handgun at former associate A$AP Relli.
Prosecutors said Rocky pointed the handgun at Terell Ephron, known as A$AP Relli, during a confrontation two years ago.
In April 2022, the rapper pleaded not guilty and has since maintained his innocence.
But now, the prosecution has gathered enough evidence to go to trial, and if found guilty, A$AP Rocky could face up to nine years in prison.
The 35-year-old Fenty mogul is reportedly fearful she will become a single mom as she potentially faces life alone.
According to reports from Heat magazine, a source close to the couple has revealed that Rihanna is considering all of the possibilities surrounding her boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s trial.’
Apparently, the Barbadian singer is “terrified” of becoming a single mother if her partner faces jail time.
Although his lawyers have “assured” the billionaire that they will try to keep him out of jail, RiRi is scared that she could be raising their sons, RZA and Riot Rose solo.
“Rihanna’s trying to stay calm and listen to the lawyers, who have promised they’ll keep him out of jail. But it’s pretty hard when everyone had assured her this wouldn’t even go to trial. He’s facing nine years, and she’s terrified right now,” the source shared.
The confidant continued, “If the worst happens and they want to make an example of him, she’ll be raising her two kids alone. It’s a total nightmare. And not something Rihanna ever thought she’d face. She’s so stressed out and losing sleep over this.”
The nightmare began last year after police arrested Rocky at LAX Airport, where he was returning from a Barbados trip with heavily pregnant Rihanna.
