Nicki Minaj’s $50K donation to the Toys for Tots charity program brings joy to children worldwide!
The superstar announced while appearing as a guest on Watch What Happens Live.
Nicki Minaj showcased her philanthropic spirit with a generous $50,000 pledge to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Foundation, which distributes toys to needy children.
During her appearance on the show, the renowned rapper also donated an assortment of toys.
The mother of one gave a big pink cheque to host Andy Cohen while expressing her heartfelt sentiments.
She said, “I would like to donate $50,000 to Toys for Tots because I love this organization. I love what it stands for. It means the world to me, and God bless all the children in the world.”
“Thank you to you guys for allowing me to do this on your show. It was something that meant a lot to me,” Nicki Minaj told host Andy Cohen.
While on the WWHL show, three representatives from Toys for Tots stood behind the show’s signature bar and expressed gratitude for the donation.
“I am incredibly speechless, especially for a program like this with Toys for Tots. It means the absolute world to be able to give back to the New York City community and just for the children across the nation. So, with somebody with such a superstar status like you, it means the absolute world,” Toys for Tots’ N.Y.C. coordinator Raul Pillco said.
Later on in the episode, Nicki Minaj discussed her upcoming Pink Friday 2 World Tour, which will kick off next year.
Speaking about the tour, Minaj assured fans that her focus would be centered around her latest album. She promised an immersive experience while ensuring a blend of her iconic hits.
The ‘Anaconda’ rapper said, “My focus on this tour will definitely be the new album. Creating a world of that album and then sprinkling everything else around that. But of course, we’re going to still have the same fun with our throwbacks, you know, how we always do.”
