Comedian Luenell Campbell has sparked a heated debate online with her recent comments on infidelity. During a discussion on a talk show, Luenell opened up about her own past as a “serial cheater” and shared her unfiltered thoughts on the controversial question making rounds on social media: Should women cheat back if they’ve been cheated on?
Luenell Campbell shared her personal experiences and opinions on the controversial topic.
When the TheShadeRoom host posed the question, Luenell didn’t hesitate to dive right in, revealing her personal history with infidelity before settling down. “Well, I have always been a serial cheater. Always, until I got married because I’m just so protective of my heart,” she admitted. Luenell explained her mindset, revealing that cheating was her way of guarding herself from potential heartbreak. “I feel like if I cheat, and a guy cheats on me, I’m not as hurt.”
Her stance on infidelity is all about self-protection, especially when the relationship isn’t serious. “You know, if you haven’t put a ring on it, if we’re not committed, if we’re not solid, then I’m probably gonna tip out and do something. I’m probably going to anyway,” Luenell said, matter-of-factly.
But it was her comments on the differences between how men and women approach cheating that really struck a chord with fans. Luenell firmly believes that women are far more discreet when it comes to stepping outside their relationships. “I think a girl [sleeping] around never gonna hurt nobody,” she stated with confidence. “But see, we are much slicker anyway. Men, you guys, get very careless in your cheating, and women are slicker.”
According to Luenell, women’s ability to multitask and remain undetected is unmatched. “We can cheat and get the kids fed and be back in the bedroom before you know it,” she said, laughing. “We don’t always have to cheat at night. We can cheat in the morning. We can cheat in the middle of the day.”
Luenell’s candor elicited a wide range of reactions from fans on social media, with some praising her honesty and others questioning her casual approach to infidelity.
