AOC Responded Strongly After JD Vance’s Harsh Words About Kamala Harris

by Gee NY

In a heated exchange of political rhetoric, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) recently called Vice President Kamala Harris “trash” during a campaign speech just before Election Day 2024.

Former President Donald Trump’s running mate intensified his criticism of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris administration by stating:

“In two days we are gonna take out the trash in Washington, D.C., and the trash’s name is Kamala Harris.”

His comments, drawing both ire and support, underscore the intense political atmosphere surrounding the election.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) quickly fired back on social media, questioning the impact of Vance’s comment.

“Not too sure that Republicans going from calling Puerto Ricans garbage to calling a woman garbage is the whiz-bang political chess move they think it is,” she posted, referencing previous controversial comments from Trump supporters toward Puerto Ricans.

This exchange follows other instances of harsh language in the campaign.

Earlier, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, performing at a Trump rally in Madison Square Garden, referred to Puerto Rico as “a floating island of garbage,” a remark that prompted condemnation from both sides.

President Joe Biden responded to Hinchcliffe’s words, calling his rhetoric “garbage”.

Biden explained in a social media post that, “The hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico… is unconscionable.”

Vance, who has represented Ohio in the Senate since 2023, has been a vocal supporter of Trump and his policies. His running commentary on the administration has become a hallmark of his political style, which some see as bold and others view as divisive.

Harris has responded by advocating for unity and condemning any criticism that targets individuals based on who they vote for.

Ahead of the final declaration of the results for the 2024 presidential election, the political landscape remains fraught with polarization.
