In a frank, uncut moment, the Miami-born star, born Caresha Romeka Brownlee, explained her decision with the same blunt-force no-nonsense approach she brings to much of her other business. “This doesn’t apply to me cuz I don’t wear panties, so maybe it’d be too hot for panties,” she says, the explanation making sense for someone who favors comfort amid the Miami heat. Her recent appearance at New York Fashion Week on September 6, 2023, where she attracted attention in a sheer lace bodysuit embellished with linen flowers, is directly related to this revelation. Her decision to forgo underwear was both sensible and fashionable, given the revealing ensemble, which was characterized as bold and daring, leaving little space for underwear.
