Yandy Smith caused quite a stir online this week when she shared a video that appeared to showcase a fresh injury to her left eye. The star of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” pointed out a large red blood clot in the white part of her eye, which sparked a flurry of speculation among her fans.

However, before rumors could take off, Yandy took to social media to clarify the situation. “I didn’t get nothing. I just woke up like this,” she explained in a video, expressing her confusion over the sudden change. “Does anybody know what this means or why this is happening? My mom said it’s stress causing it. She used to get it. Now who’s been stressing me?”

In the video, Yandy showed off her glamorous style, wearing stacked diamond chokers and large gold heart-shaped earrings, all while revealing the striking red patch in her eye. Fans quickly filled the comments with their theories, suggesting everything from sleep deprivation to a subconjunctival hemorrhage, which is a medical condition that results in a blood spot in the eye, which may look alarming, but is usually not serious.

The situation was layered with its own drama. Just a few months earlier, Yandy had to defend her marriage against rumors that her husband, Mendeecees Harris, was flirting with other women. When her castmate Jessica White claimed Mendeecees had been messaging her niece, Yandy aptly responded with evidence that it was actually her who initiated the conversation first, not her husband.

These claims reopened old speculation about infidelity that has long surrounded the couple. Yandy has made it clear that she doesn’t appreciate outsiders trying to disrupt her family. Back in March, she urged both fans and critics to quit meddling in her marriage. “Allow one family to stay together instead of constantly trying to break up my union,” she asserted.

Now, some fans began to wonder if the eye clot was just a random occurrence or a sign that the weight of public scrutiny, reality TV drama, and ongoing rumors was starting to take a toll on her well-being.
