BIA says Cardi B can’t rap without her ghostwriter, so she’s calling for a live rap battle to settle their beef!

The Boston rapper appeared on Hot 97 on October 8 to address the situation after Cardi B fired shots at her in the track “Pretty & Petty” from her latest album, “Am I the Drama?” Instead of retaliating with her own diss track, BIA expressed that responding would be a misuse of her time and creativity.

“Why would I?” she replied when asked about her plans to respond. “I don’t care about anybody that much to get up and dedicate my life to like, ‘Oh, let me get at her.’ Like, no way, bro, that’s crazy.”

BIA was not shy about discussing Cardi’s lyrics or the timing of their exchange. She noted that while Cardi took nearly a year to respond to a diss she had crafted in just 48 hours, “If she wants to get on a stream or hop in the booth with me in real life and really rap, I’ll do it,” she stated confidently. “I write on the spot.”

The tension between Cardi and BIA has been brewing for a few years, starting when fans began comparing their music styles, particularly Cardi’s song “Enough” to BIA’s “I’M THAT B**H.” What began as subtle posts escalated to personal digs, with both artists sharing their grievances through interviews and songs.

Cardi even mentioned that they attempted to resolve their issues privately, but it didn’t end favorably. She accused BIA of crossing a line by referencing her kids in the diss track “SUEEE ME.”

Despite the renewed focus on their feud, BIA emphasized that she isn’t interested in revisiting past issues. “I can always address it after,” she mentioned. “But I just feel like it’s a little beneath me because that was a year ago for me. This album was coming out either way, whether she dissed me or not.”

BIA also stated her intention to prioritize peace, especially considering Cardi’s pregnancy. “I can go get on your ass again, but it’s like… girl, enjoy your pregnancy,” she said. “I don’t want to say something that’s gonna hurt your feelings and make me look like the bad guy because I’m talking about somebody with a baby. That’s not the energy I’m on. My mother didn’t raise me to be dragging a pregnant lady.”
