Dr. Cheyenne Bryant is sharing a previously untold story about how a late-night decision—and an unexpected connection—helped transform her career as an author.
Speaking on the Motion And Success podcast, Bryant revealed that a spontaneous direct message to 50 Cent ultimately led to her securing a two-book publishing deal—far beyond what she initially set out to achieve.
“Relationships will get you in doors that money can never buy. Remember that,” Bryant said, reflecting on the experience.

According to Bryant, the moment came around midnight while she was contemplating how to move forward with her book, including her work Mental Detox. Despite initial hesitation, she felt compelled to reach out after noticing that 50 Cent had been following her on social media.
What followed was immediate and unexpected.
After sending the message, Bryant said her phone “lit up,” with the entertainment mogul quickly expressing interest and requesting her contact information. The two then spoke for hours, discussing not only business but forming what Bryant described as a genuine friendship.
Recognizing her potential, 50 Cent offered to connect her with a top industry agent, advocating on her behalf even when there was initial unfamiliarity with her work. That introduction proved pivotal.
Bryant said what began as an attempt to secure a single book deal quickly evolved into something much larger.
“My intention was to get one book… they want to give you a double book deal,” she recalled being told after the discussions progressed.
The deal, she noted, exceeded what many first-time authors typically receive, underscoring the power of strategic relationships and timing.
While Bryant emphasized that her decision to send the message was deeply personal and rooted in intuition, she spoke about the outcome as a broader lesson in opportunity and connection.
“I was just obedient to spirit,” she said, adding that the experience reshaped how she views both business and networking.
Her story highlights an increasingly common reality in today’s digital landscape: access to influential figures is more immediate than ever—but knowing when and how to act can make all the difference.
