A new celebrity romance? Amber Rose and Iman Shumpert were spotted getting cozy on the sandy shores of Miami, barely a year after news broke of Shumpert’s split from wife Teyana Taylor.
Their unexpected pairing comes hot on the heels of Shumpert’s very public and messy split from Teyana Taylor.
Teyana and Shumpert officially announced their separation back in September 2023.
The former couple met at a New York City party in 2011 and confirmed their relationship on Instagram in June 2014. They announced their pregnancy in September 2015, and their first daughter was born in December of the same year.
It appeared to be a happy life until Teyana Taylor secretly filed for divorce in January 2023, more than eight months before finally announcing their split.
Since then, Teyana has accused Iman of being under the influence while caring for their children and of cutting off electricity and plumbing in their home, leaving her and their daughters without water and other basic necessities.
In addition, they have been fighting over money, with Taylor claiming that her former husband withdrew $4 million from shared accounts and left her to handle $200,000 in home renovations.
However, it appears that Iman has already moved on, and fans speculate about his relationship with Amber Rose. The two have been seen at various industry events, but this is the first time they’ve been spotted in such a close and personal setting.
Amber and Iman could be seen grinning as they chatted on lounge chairs. Then, they stripped down to their swimsuits for a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Another image showed their stroll up the beach wrapped in big fluffy towels.
