Candace Owens may be a new mom, but that hasn’t stopped her from spewing hate towards the Democrats.
This week, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez caught the Conservative loudmouth’s attention. AOC stepped forward and revealed to the world that she had been the victim of sexual assault.
Ocasio-Cortez says she relieved the trauma in the wake of the US Capitol’s insurrection last month. AOC slammed Congress members who told her “to move on,” accusing them of using “the same tactics of abusers.”
“The reason I say this and the reason I’m getting emotional in this moment is because these folks who tell us to move on, that it’s not a big deal, that we should forget what’s happened, or even telling us to apologize. These are the same tactics of abusers. And, um, I’m a survivor of sexual assault,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “And I haven’t told many people that in my life. But when we go through trauma, trauma compounds on each other. And so, whether you had a negligent or a neglectful parent, and — or whether you had someone who was verbally abusive to you, whether you are a survivor of abuse, whether you experience any sort of trauma in your life, small to large — these episodes can compound on one another.”
The spotlight being on somebody else was all too much for Owens to bear, and she hopped on Twitter to spread a bald-faced lie:
“On a day in which #AlexandriaOcasioSmollett is trending, please never forget the time that @AOC staged a photo shoot dressed in all white at a parking lot to spread lies about immigrant children in cages,” Owens tweeted alongside photographs from the alleged staged shoot. “Faking her own attempted murder was the next logical step.”
