Controversial political commentator and right-wing talk show host Candace Owens has raised eyebrows in the pop culture world after surfacing alleged audio of Kim Kardashian calling Whitney Houston “disgusting” and an “old hag.”
The polarizing figure – who made headlines last week after appearing in a photo wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt with Kanye West during his Yeezy fashion show in Paris – said that the tape would reveal to the world that “Kim is not who she says she is.”
“Some tapes are making the rounds, of Kim Kardashian and she’s talking trash,” Owens said on the Candace Owens Podcast. “It’s not the sweet little Kim K that she presents today. She’s nasty; she’s calling Whitney Houston a crackhead and she’s yelling at Ray J. It is the opposite version of the Kim Kardashian that your kids have been following.”
Owens then went on to play a clip of the alleged recording, which she claims are voicemails Kardashian left for her then-boyfriend, Ray J.
“I think you’re honestly a sick human being. You are just so desperate that you’ll do anything for fucki*g attention, and you’re so disgusting. Go have fun with old hag Whitney, you’re so sick – and crack is definitely not wack with you guys. You are just, honestly, it makes me laugh how disgusting you guys look.”
It is unclear how Owens received the alleged recording, but the voicemail has since gone viral. Neither Kardashian nor Ray J have responded to the audio’s leak.
Kardashian rose to fame after a sex tape of her with Ray J surfaced in 2003. She has since gone on to appear in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians and currently stars in Hulu’s The Kardashians. She is the former wife to rapper Kanye West, with whom they share four children.
