2020 keeps getting more bizarre by the minute — so a Twitter beef between rapper Cardi B and political commentator, Candace Owens, probably won’t come as a shock to most.

Speaking with right-wing commentator, Ben Shapiro, Owens slammed Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden sitting down for an interview with the “WAP” rapper.

According to Owens, Biden doing the interview “would be akin to Donald Trump saying, ‘I’m going to give no interviews’ but he decided to give an interview to Justin Bieber,” adding that Biden thinks “Black people are stupid” because he chose to sit down with an “illiterate rapper.”

It didn’t take long for Cardi to catch wind of Owens’ comments, and she hopped online to clap back at the outspoken conservative.

“Why wouldn’t Joe Biden sit down with me? I have millions of followers and I pay millions in taxes … I’m heard all around the word,” she said. “The same way I get people to pop their p*ssy and have a good time and make them feel like a bad bitch — I can also encourage millions of followers to go vote.”

Cardi continued: “You want to call me a dumb bitch, you want to call me illiterate … girl, you’re getting pimped out by White men. You have been this man’s cheerleader. You’re a beautiful Black woman, you talk great, amazing … and this man didn’t have the decency to let you talk at the Republican convention.”

Owens, a staunch Trump supporter, was noticeably left off the speaker’s list at the Republican National Convention. In fact, Owens was not present at the event, and Trump’s camp has worked hard to distance themselves from her.

This year alone, Owens has spoken ill of George Floyd, the unarmed Black man who suffocated to death under the knee of a white officer. It took him almost nine minutes to die. She also trashed Ahmuad Arbery, an unarmed Black man who was chased and gunned down by three white men while he was out jogging.

“I don’t know what Black man broke your heart … that you hate your kind so much,” Cardi added.
