Cardi B was appalled by a recent viral tweet from a mother who says that she would never put her child before her husband.
“My Daughter Does Not Come Before My Husband IDC,” the woman wrote.
The tweet then began to circulate around the internet and Cardi caught wind. And she didn’t hold back.
“And these be the b***es that god forbid they daughters get molested by their ‘husband’ ‘boyfriend’ they won’t believe them their kids, take their words and will hate their daughters cause of the truth and the men be knowing that and take advantage,” she wrote via Instagram.
Cardi currently shares has one daughter, Kulture, who she shares with Migos rapper, Offset. She is also stepmother to Offset’s three children from three previous relationships.
In her first cover interview with Vogue, the up rapper opened up about motherhood. She says that despite the public perception, she’s making sure she secures her child’s future.
“I could shake my a**, I could be the most ratchet-est person ever, I could get into a fight tomorrow, but I’m still a great mom. All the time I’m thinking about my kid. I’m shaking my a**, but at the same time I’m doing business, I’m on the phone with my business manager saying, make sure that a percentage of my check goes to my kid’s trust,” she explained.
“I give my daughter so much love, and I’m setting her up for a future. I want to tell her that a lot of the sh*t that I have done in life—no matter what I did, knowing that I wanted to have kids made me go harder to secure a good future for my kids.”
Cardi has been busy promoting new movie, “Fast and Furious 9.” Vin Diesel recently confirmed that she would also star in the tenth movie.
