Sean “Diddy” Combs is responding to allegations brought forth by his former partner, Cassie Ventura, amidst their ongoing legal dispute that has drawn public attention. In defense, Diddy’s legal representatives have rebutted the accusations regarding the alleged “freak-off” videos, asserting that they demonstrate consensual interactions instead of the coercive behavior that Cassie claims.

Defense attorneys for Sean “Diddy” Combs asserted in a new court filing on Tuesday that videos depicting sexual activity between the rapper, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, and male prostitutes “confirm Mr. Combs’s innocence” because they show sexual activity among “consenting adults.”

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s attorneys claim that the videos in question depict “private sexual activity between consenting adults in a long-term relationship.” Far from the “elaborate and produced sex performances” described by prosecutors, Diddy’s team claims the footage reveals consensual and mutual interactions, with Cassie allegedly appearing “happy, dominant, and fully in control.”

“These videos unambiguously show that the person alleged in the indictment to be ‘Victim-I’ not only consented but thoroughly enjoyed herself,” the filing claims.

The defense also denies any allegations of coercion or misconduct, firmly stating that the encounters shown in the footage involved no hidden cameras, no other celebrities, no minors, and no underground tunnels—directly addressing rumors that have swirled since the case began.

Diddy’s lawyers are also contesting allegations that he covertly recorded the meetings or stored the footage as leverage. Instead, they claim that Cassie kept the recordings on her personal devices for several years and willingly provided them to law enforcement. They assert that the videos were not taken from Diddy’s property nor saved on his devices, directly contradicting the prosecution’s story.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as he awaits trial on charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Prosecutors have claimed that he mistreated multiple women and operated Bad Boy Records as a “criminal enterprise” for over ten years.

The allegations first came to light in a quickly settled civil suit filed by Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who Diddy was caught on camera punching and kicking in disturbing footage unearthed last May.

There are nine recordings that prosecutors have claimed Combs referred to as “freak offs,” which they characterized as “elaborate and produced sex performances.” These recordings are currently accessible for defense attorneys to examine, and they are requesting electronic copies from the judge.

Prosecutors allege that the 55-year-old meticulously orchestrated his finances and position in the entertainment sector to “satisfy his sexual cravings” in a “repetitive and publicly recognized” pattern of misconduct. In September 2024, Diddy entered a not-guilty plea to federal criminal accusations.
