Megan Thee Stallion is firmly refuting all accusations made against her in a harassment lawsuit filed on Tuesday, April 23, asserting that the claims lack merit and are merely an attempt to exploit her celebrity status for financial gain.

According to a report by Page Six, Alex Spiro, Megan’s attorney, dismissed the allegations, stating:

“This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”

The lawsuit was filed by Emilio Garcia, a videographer who worked with Megan from 2019 until June 2023. Garcia alleges that he was subjected to a hostile work environment, forced to witness private encounters, and terminated unjustly.

Alongside Megan, her companies Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Hot Girl Touring, and Roc Nation are also named in the lawsuit.

Among the allegations, Garcia claims that during a trip to Ibiza in 2022, he was placed in a compromising position when Megan engaged in sexual activity beside him in a moving vehicle. He expressed feeling embarrassed and mortified throughout the ordeal.

“I felt uncomfortable,” Garcia revealed in an interview with NBC News. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me.”

Additionally, Garcia alleges that Megan subjected him to verbal abuse, including fat-shaming and derogatory remarks about his appearance and eating habits. He claims to have endured a hostile and possessive work environment, ultimately leading to his termination.

In response to the lawsuit, Ron Zambrano, an attorney for Garcia, emphasized his client’s desire to receive rightful compensation and addressed the alleged misconduct.

“Megan just needs to pay our client what he’s due, own up to her behavior, and quit this sort of sexual harassment and fat-shaming conduct,” Zambrano asserted.

The lawsuit seeks financial damages for Garcia, who claims to have suffered emotional and physical distress as a result of his treatment on the job and the subsequent termination.

Megan Thee Stallion has yet to publicly address the allegations beyond the statement from her attorney, and the case is pending further legal proceedings.
