The untimely death of reality star Keke Jabbar, best known for her role on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville,” has left the entertainment industry and her fans in mourning.
A close friend has revealed the heartbreaking details surrounding her passing.
YouTuber JoAnn Jenkins, who shared a close friendship with Jabbar, addressed the speculation about Jabbar’s cause of death.
“Keke did not overdose, and she did not take her own life. Keke loved life and was not ready to leave her children, husband, or family,” Jenkins clarified during a YouTube livestream on Wednesday night.
Jenkins recounted that Jabbar often felt tired and would “go to sleep wherever.” On the morning of her passing, Jabbar’s husband discovered her in the garage.
“Around seven-something this morning, her husband found Keke in the car. He thought she was asleep, but when he opened the car, she wasn’t breathing,” Jenkins explained in her official statement. “Her husband, her life partner, her best friend, tried to revive her but couldn’t. Keke passed from carbon monoxide poisoning. That’s it. That is all.”
The announcement of Jabbar’s death was made by blogger Marcella Speaks, who read a statement from Jabbar’s family on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
“It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keke. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love,” Speaks shared on behalf of the family during a YouTube livestream. “She was a mom, a sister, and a great friend full of life, love, and laughter. She will be sorely missed. We ask for respect and privacy as we process this great loss. The Jabbar Family and the Scott Family.”
Keke’s elder son Amaree just graduated from his high school in May 2024
