Damian Lillard was caught off guard by a GloRilla query during Bucks Media Day while taking some non-basketball-related questions.
There seemed to be a little something brewing between Damian Lillard and Glorilla when the rapper shot her shot at the Milwaukee Bucks player.
The Memphis rapper got the internet talking in February when she took to X (formally Twitter) to shoot her shot at the basketball superstar after she met him during the All-Star Weekend.
GloRilla shared a picture of herself with Lillard, 33, at the 2024 All-Star Game in Indianapolis. “Who n***a dis? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo,” she wrote alongside the photo.
In a follow-up tweet, she added, “Whoever she is can’t whoop me, so I’m really deaf.”
GloRilla’s shot comes shortly after Lillard filed for divorce from his wife Kay-La Lillard, with whom he has three children.
On October 2 of last year, the former Portland Trail Blazers star filed for divorce in Clackamas County, Oregon.
In a recent interview, a reporter got straight to the point, asking the Portland Trail Blazers guard what was going on between him and GloRilla.
“I keep my personal life personal, you know? I let it be that. I respect her as an artist,” Lillard responded. “We know each other. She’s an artist; I’m an artist, but as far as anything else, it ain’t nothin’ goin’ on. That’s what I can tell you.”
In an interview with Yahoo Sports earlier last month, Lillard stated that the divorce has been more difficult for him than the move to Milwaukee.
“As much as I love basketball, and I love my job, I don’t care about it more than I care about my kids. Of course, you carry it with you,” he said. “People say, ‘When I hoop, I ain’t thinking about nothing,’ but I’m not 21. I have three kids. I’m tight with my family and going through a divorce.”
GloRilla, meanwhile, announced last month that she intends to begin 2024 by going 90 days without sex.
“Started my 90-day celibacy lil shit for New Year’s or WTV, I’m on day 9, and my vision is blurry af!!!!! She tweeted, “Send help,” near the beginning of January.
