Danielle Moodie Blasts Trump In Viral Rant: ‘We Live In An Idocracy Combined With An Autocracy’

by Gee NY

Political commentator and podcast host Danielle Moodie is going viral for a fiery video monologue posted to her Instagram page.

The host of The Danielle Moodie Show on YouTube delivered a sharp criticism of President Donald Trump, the media coverage of misinformation, and questioned the direction of American democracy.

In the video posted on June 2, Moodie, who also co-hosts the podcasts As the World Churns and Democracyish, delivered the scathing commentary following a bizarre post on Truth Social, Trump’s social media platform, in which he reportedly amplified a conspiracy theory claiming that former President Joe Biden had been “executed in 2020” and replaced with a robotic clone.

Moodie compared sifting through news headlines to “turning on a fire hose filled with acid and piranhas,” saying the current political climate feels “absolutely batshit crazy and unhinged.”

She slammed major media outlets for downplaying Trump’s actions with terms like “unfounded,” arguing that such language normalizes extremism.

“Words matter and we should use the words that align with where this current idiocracy is,” Moodie said, calling Trump the “conspiracy theorist in chief.”

In her takedown, Moodie also targeted Tulsi Gabbard, who has reportedly suggested that Trump’s intelligence briefings be turned into a Fox News-style show to keep his attention. Moodie mocked the idea, saying it might as well be a “coloring book or a cartoon.”

Moodie’s outrage extended to broader concerns about U.S. democracy.

“The world is learning how to deal without America,” she said. “We don’t live in a democracy—we live in an idocracy combined with an autocracy.”

She closed with a searing reflection on the 2024 election, blaming low voter turnout and the continued appeal of white nationalism for the nation’s current political dysfunction.

“I can’t believe this is how America goes down,” Moodie concluded.

The video quickly went viral, resonating with progressive audiences.

“Thank you Danielle for speaking so bluntly. 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥,” one person commented. “Why wasn’t this reported on major news outlets?” another quizzed.
