Fats Timbo is officially in wedding mode! The TikTok superstar and Channel 4’s The Undateables alum, who melted hearts with her wit and charm, is ready to trade her “undateable” label for a “wife” title.
After a swoon-worthy proposal in Thailand, Fats and her photographer fiancé, Alan Laszczak, have dropped their wedding date: August 24, 2025, and the internet is already RSVP’ing yes to this joy-filled journey.
The couple, who’ve been dating for four years (and no, Alan wasn’t a contestant on her reality TV stint), sparked engagement frenzy on May 7, 2024, when Fats flaunted her jaw-dropping diamond ring in a viral TikTok video.
The clip, captioned “Alan proposed! And I said yes!!!”, captured the magical moment he knelt under Thai skies, proving fairy tales do exist off-screen. Fans flooded the comments with well wishes and good luck.
But wait, the plot thickens! On March 15, 2025, Fats cranked the excitement to the max with her golden-themed wedding announcement.
“Living my life like it’s golden… and about to be wifed up like it’s golden too!” she wrote on Instagram, tagging elite wedding videographers @gtrulyweddings to hint at the cinematic vibes in store. “Save the date: 24.08.2025, when I officially say ‘I do’ to my best friend (and lifetime comedian). Let the countdown to forever begin!”
In the announcement, Fats Timbo wore a stunning, off-white gown with long sleeves and a draped, asymmetrical design featuring a chic high neckline and a fitted silhouette highlighting her figure. She completed the look with metallic silver open-toe heels, adding a touch of glamour. While Alan Laszczak looked sharp, tailored brown plaid suit with a vest, complimenting a crisp white dress shirt and a patterned tie that complements the earthy tones of his suit.
For Fats, whose authenticity and humor skyrocketed her to TikTok fame, she also happens to be 4ft (1.21m) tall. She has had to overcome bullying and insecurity to succeed.
“For a long time, I thought I was cursed,” she shared on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s If You Don’t Know podcast. “When I was younger, every time I would go out and someone’s looking at me, it would make me feel so bad. Even when going shopping, she’d experience ‘people looking at you, people laughing at you, people just ridiculing you.'”
