Fitness influencer Natalee Barnett has shared an emotional video addressing the “hate, abuse, and racism” she has faced while launching her female-only gym, The G-Spot.
In a tearful Instagram post, Barnett expressed her disappointment over the backlash, emphasizing that she created The G-Spot as a safe space for women.
“I am just one single young woman trying to create a safe space for a group of women,” Barnett said. “The amount of hate, the abuse, the racism, the comments, the slurs in response to that is just beyond me.”
The influencer, who has previously spoken about her personal experiences with sexual assault and the importance of safe workout environments, questioned how her efforts to uplift women turned into a source of controversy.
Despite the negativity, Barnett remains committed to her mission, stating that The G-Spot will continue to serve as a supportive and empowering space for women.
