Former University of Nevada, Las Vegas basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused singer Trey Songz of being a rapist.
“Trey Songz is a rapist. Lord forgive me I Couldn’t hold that in another year. See you in 2022 Sign of the horns,” she tweeted.
Gonzalez did not go into further detail about the alleged incident, but her allegations follow several made from other women over the years about Trigga’s conduct.
Just a month ago, the Las Vegas Vegas Police Department confirmed they were investigating the singer after receiving a complaint about an incident involving the musician at a Las Vegas Strip hotel.
At the time, LVPD spokesperson Misael Parra said he was cooperating with authorities and that no arrests had been made.
Two weeks later, he was accused of assaulting a woman at a Miami nightclub on New Year’s Day in 2018. Jauhara Jeffries filed a civil suit in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
She says she met Songz after she attended a New Year’s Eve party at Diddy’s home on Star Island. The singer ended up sharing a ride-sharing vehicle to take them to another club. Songz allegedly Jeffries and her friends to join him at a private table at the club and that while she was dancing on a couch, Songz sexually violated her with his fingers.
“Plaintiff immediately got off of the couch, sat down, and was in a state of shock,” the lawsuit says. The suit also alleges that another woman then went over to see what was wrong with Jeffries and told her that Songz had also violated her with his fingers.
Perhaps the most high-profile accusation comes from KeKe Palmer.
In 2017, after Songz allegedly put her in his “Pick Up The Phone” video without her permission, Palmer took to Twitter to call him out.
“This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey?” Palmer wrote. “After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of anymore conflict. Literally my last option was to hide because you all would not listen when I said I did not want to be in the video the FIRST time.”
She continued: “Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn’t mean they will buckle. Yet, you still disrespected me as a young women, whom you’ve known since she was TWELVE. YOU STILL, defied my wishes and in turn showed your lack of respect for a brand that took me fourteen years to build and put me in the video against my wishes. Come on bruh, I clearly said no and you said okay, yet I was being secretly filmed when you told me ‘let me just show you the idea’?? Wow.”
She continued: “This is the sexism and misogyny I refer to because if I was a dude, he wouldn’t have even tried me like this. Let this be a lesson to all, I’m not for the bulls—t. I’m serious about my business and you will not use my likeness without MY permission. When you in front of a boss you treat them like one, like I treat YOU. NO MEANS NO!!!!!!!”
Songz was dismissive:
“Babygirl buggin. Point blank period. Got my number, coulda called, saw the cameras and the lights, heard action,” he typed. “I don’t do this twitter s—t, girl you know me and got my number f—k outta here.”
