A former Bravo reality TV star is facing serious criminal charges after allegedly attacking a woman inside a Tennessee Walmart with a sock filled with rocks, according to a police affidavit.

Diamond Tankard, 21, who gained national attention as a child on Bravo’s Thicker Than Water, was arrested by Metro Nashville Police and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft of property following a violent altercation on Friday at the Walmart located on Hamilton Church Road.

The victim told officers she was using the self-checkout when Tankard approached her from behind, grabbed her by the hair, and repeatedly struck her with what appeared to be a sock filled with rocks. After the assault, Tankard allegedly took the woman’s $1,500 iPhone 14 and $900 Louis Vuitton handbag.

Officers noted a visible cut above the victim’s left eye. Walmart staff reviewed and handed over security footage, which confirmed the victim’s account.

Tankard was taken into custody and later released after posting a $25,000 bond.

This incident adds to Tankard’s growing legal troubles. In December, she was charged with attempted first-degree murder after allegedly intentionally hitting a woman with her car during a separate incident on November 29. At the time, Tankard was reportedly wearing an ankle monitor linked to a domestic assault-related arrest.

Diamond Tankard rose to fame on Thicker Than Water, a reality series that followed the lives of gospel-jazz musician and pastor Ben Tankard and his family. The show aired for three seasons beginning in 2013.

As of now, Tankard has not issued a public statement regarding the latest charges.
