Fox News contributor and internet personality Xaviaer DuRousseau has sparked outrage with his latest remarks about Beyoncé and her devoted fanbase, the Beyhive.

During an appearance on Fox News at Night with host Trace Gallagher, Xaviaer DuRousseau, a self-described ex-Black Lives Matter activist turned outspoken Republican conservative, slammed Kamala Harris’s campaign, calling it a “desperate attempt to stay relevant.” He didn’t hold back, going as far as to say Beyoncé should be more concerned with keeping her album on the charts than endorsing political figures.

“She’s out here bringing every celebrity she can to get any kind of endorsement because she knows she doesn’t have any substance herself,” DuRousseau said. Referring to Beyoncé’s high-profile support for Harris, he continued, “[Beyoncé] doesn’t need to be doing that [endorsing Kamala]. She needs to be focusing on trying to keep her album on the charts because it’s already gone.”

His next move, however, sparked an online frenzy among the Beyhive, known for their loyalty and social media power.

Following the interview, DuRousseau posted a clip of his appearance on Twitter with a bold caption: “The bravest thing I’ve ever done in my career is drag Beyoncé on live TV. The Beyhive are domestic terrorists.”

After sharply criticizing Beyoncé and her fanbase, social media users uncovered several old tweets in which DuRousseau praised the singer.

“Conservatives drag me every time I say this, but I’m obsessed with the Carters and will defend them as if I’m on their payroll,” Xaviaer DuRousseau tweeted in 2023. “Jay-Z and Beyoncé are a royal family.”

Another surface tweet from DuRousseau showed him calling Beyoncé more talented than the Beetles.

Xaviaer DuRousseau has since responded through The Shade Room in an exclusive statement.

“The receipts may have gagged me,” he began. “But they do not discredit what I said on FOX News. I am STILL a Beyoncé fan. It’s not my fault that she doesn’t promote her music, and that’s why her album FLED the charts like Harriet Tubman in the middle of the night. Maybe that wouldn’t have happened if she focused on her album rather than politics.”

DuRousseau continued,” “Beyoncé fans need to be honest about her lack of marketing. She needs to also take some business notes from Ms. Fenty on how to promote her businesses! I wish Beyoncé the best, and that starts with electing Donald Trump as president.”
