GloRilla has taken to social media to call out an Atlanta-based makeup artist for sharing an old “ugly” makeup video of her. In a video posted on her Instagram, GloRilla expressed her frustration with the MUA’s actions, accusing the makeup artiste of “playing with her.”
Last week, Glorilla’s makeup look went viral on social media after Atlanta-based makeup artist Angelica White, who created the face beat, shared some before and after process with her followers.
Although it is unclear when White worked on Glo’s face beat, the video was most likely shot before Glo’s commercial debut this year.
On October 16th, Angelica White posted an Instagram video showing how she applied Glo’s makeup. The transformation included a natural glam look and clips of Glo’s bare face, which drew mostly negative comments. While some fans praised the look, others mocked Glo’s face.
The brief video made its way online, where the 25-year-old was harshly criticized for her appearance and accused of catfishing her fans.
In a video posted to her Instagram stories, GloRilla vented her frustration with the MUA. According to the Memphis rapper, the problem wasn’t her face but the makeup itself.
“Tell them to stop playing with me, going off the ugly ass motherfucking makeup video, acting like I don’t show my motherfucking barefaced every day. Bitch, what’s up?” Glo said.
“No disrespect to the girl. It really is disrespect because you know you’re not supposed to upload the ugly ass video anyway, but shout out to her,” she added. “She probably got better after two years or whatever, but don’t upload no picture, and you know that makeup wasn’t cute. Got these people playing with my motherfucking face.”
” You know them eyebrows were doing a ‘1, 2 Step,’ bitch,” Glo continued. “I ain’t mean to call you out your name—call you no bitch, cause she actually a cool person, you feel me? But just don’t be doing no shit like that.”
“Why are you proud of this?” Glo indirectly asked White. “Take it down.”
Angelica White responded to Glo’s rant, saying, “”I’m in shock to even have heard her say that, like ‘Why am I proud? Why is she proud of that?’ Be for real, you were my first celebrity client; anybody would have been proud. I’m sure when you got signed, you were proud, too. You had time to perfect your craft just like me.”
“So honestly hearing this hurts even though she may not remember the conversation that we had that day,” White continued. “But I told her that I was an up-and-coming makeup artist. I was currently in school, and I left school that day early because I was so excited to do her makeup.”
