Janet Jackson Prepares for Las Vegas Residency After World Tour

Janet Jackson is finalizing plans for a Las Vegas residency to close out the year, following the conclusion of her Together Again world tour.

According to reports from TMZ, the iconic pop star is in talks with Resorts World for a limited engagement set to kick off in December, with a special New Year’s Eve performance to usher in 2025.

The decision to opt for a Vegas residency over a potential stint in London was influenced by the more lucrative offer Stateside.

This marks Jackson’s return to the Vegas stage, following her successful “Metamorphosis” residency at Park MGM in 2019, which spanned 18 dates and grossed approximately $13 million, making it one of the most profitable residencies in Sin City history.

Jackson’s latest tour began in April in Florida and is set to conclude in Glasgow, Scotland, in October. The North American leg wrapped up at the end of July, and she is scheduled to start the European leg in September.

A highlight of her performances is the tribute to her late brother, Michael Jackson, with a rendition of their 1995 duet “Scream.”

The emotional tribute allows Jackson to honor her brother’s legacy and recall their close bond.

“Listening to him every night, seeing him, remembering us,” she told the BBC last month, describing the experience as deeply emotional. “I relive that whole journey, listening to him sing it and remembering what he was going through at that time. And just me being his little sister, always by his side, and being that support system. That’s always been my role.”

Fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming residency, which promises to be a spectacular addition to Jackson’s illustrious career.
