Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on the season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” urging all Americans to vote!

The segment aired last night and featured Harris delivering a powerful message about the importance of civic engagement while combining politics with the show’s iconic style.

The episode, which concludes the series’ ninth season, was available on Paramount+ on Friday. It begins with an announcer stating that programming is being interrupted for an “extra special ‘Drag Race’ viewing party.”

The scene then cuts to the Democratic vice president smiling broadly and saying to the camera, “Hi, everyone. It’s Kamala Harris. Every day, we see our rights and freedoms being attacked, including everyone’s right to be themselves and love who they love openly and proudly.”

Dressed in a purple chic suit and exuding her signature charisma, Harris directly addressed the contestants and viewers, emphasizing the significance of voting in shaping the nation’s future.

Seated with actor Cheyenne Jackson and surrounded by other celebrities and stars from the show, Harris continued: “So, as we fight back against these attacks, no one is alone.”

The Vice President’s appearance was part of a larger effort to increase voter turnout, particularly among the show’s diverse and enthusiastic fan base. RuPaul’s Drag Race is well-known for celebrating LGBTQ+ culture and inclusivity, and it has served as a platform for a variety of social and political issues, making it an ideal venue for Harris’ message.

“We are all in this together, and your vote is your power, so please make sure your voice is heard this November and register to vote,” the vice president concluded.

That causes Jackson to say, “Can I get an amen?” and Harris and others enthusiastically say, “Amen!”
The vice president raises her hands in praise before saying, “Now on with the show.”

Harris and others then clap to RuPaul’s song “A Little Bit of Love” while some present hold placards promoting the website vote.gov. Harris laughs as one sign is mistakenly turned upside down.

It’s not the first time a politician has appeared on the show. Previous seasons have included appearances by politicians and activists, demonstrating the show’s dedication to using its platform to effect positive change.

It’s important to note that RuPaul, the show’s host, was not seen in the clip.
