Latto says she didn’t know Ice Spice video was playing in her TikTok video, but she’s also one who never backs down from a fight.
Ice Spice took shots at Latto during an X space session, calling the latter’s music video “a weak a** snippet.” She said that her music video for “Pretty Girl,” playing in the background of Latto’s TikTok, felt like the “Put In Da Floor” hitmaker was jabbing her in the song.
“Seeing that I’m in the back of your weak a** snippet, I was like, ‘Wait a second, that’s me?’ So I was like, ‘Since we’re talking about me, let’s talk about me.’ It was really just a snippet. “I was like, ‘This has to be fake. This is AI.’ But b**ches be bold, so I was like, ‘Oh, we’re being bold today,'” Spice told her fans.
The Bronx rapper promptly took aim at Latto on her song “Think U the Shit (Fart),” where she rapped: “I got my foot on the necks, I can’t let up/ She all on the floor, told her to get up.”
The Atlanta native sat down with “Millon Dollaz Worth Of Game ” to explain how the feud between her and Ice started.
According to Latto, featuring Ice Spice’s video in the background of her TikTok while she was rapping was not intentional.
“You gettin’ right to it; I did not do that on purpose, but f**k it. Let’s do it then,” Latto said. “It wasn’t like that. It wasn’t like that, I swear to God. It wasn’t like that. Mind you, I’m in Houston having a ball. Leaving the club drunk as f**k. I’m like, I’m gonna make a little TikTok to this song I like, type s**t,” Latto told Gillie.
The Georgia rapper also revealed she didn’t know that Ice Spice had taken a swipe at her in her latest song until the rapper confirmed it.
And so she dished out some to Spice in her new hit sing, “Sunday Service,” with the bar, “Think I’m the shit? B***h, I know it, ho/Jesus walked on water, I got Ice boilin’ though.”
“I come from a rap competition show, so yeah, if it’s gonna be that, let’s do it. I’m gonna say what I got to say right back. I ain’t runnin’ from no smoke,” Latto finalized.
