Halle Bailey announced by captioning a photo of her newborn son with, “Welcome to the world, my Halo. The world is desperate to know you.”
According to Halle, her son’s arrival was her biggest achievement of 2023, despite the 23-year-old star’s fame soaring to new heights thanks to her leading role as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, which saw her nominated for several awards.
The Little Mermaid actress shared the news of Halo’s arrival on Instagram, posting a photo of her baby’s itsy-bitsy hand with a customized gold nameplate bracelet clad in hers and her DDG’s hand.
“even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you,” Halle accompanied the photo with a heartfelt caption.
For months, fans have speculated whether the “Ungodly Hour” singer was pregnant, quoting her clothing choices, seemingly strategic photo angles, and some even mentioning the growing size of her nose.
In December, social media sleuths pointed out that Halle was exhibiting signs of post-delivery behavior in a video she shared on her social media on Christmas day.
Female fans under the post quickly pointed out Halle Bailey’s walk was exactly how women act after getting labor stitches.
Although it’s not clear when she gave birth to the baby, the Disney star and her boyfriend have confirmed their new ‘parental’ status.
DDG also shared the same photo Halle posted on his Instagram, writing, “My biggest blessing by far son.. never been so in love baby halo.”
Halle Bailey once revealed she’s careful not to disclose much about her personal life in an interview with Glamour.
