The daughter of Love & Hip Hop New York reality star Rich Dollaz has landed herself in big trouble after being arrested for shooting at her ex-boyfriend.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Ashley Trowers told authorities that she was working the overnight shift as a security guard at a local Tennessee Kroger gas station when the father of her child approached her in a Cadillac ATS.
According to Trowers, Demiah Tatum was accompanied with another man Mykel Yates when they pulled up on her. She says she began to flee but the two men chased her down, which made her feel the need to fire two shots at the vehicle. She proceeded to call the police saying she felt unsafe because she recently filed a restraining order against Tatum.
She further indicated that she was surprised to discover that her child’s father knew her new place of employment and said she thought she saw a passenger in the vehicle reaching for a gun.
But Yates refutes those claims. She said that he and Tatum arrived at her workplace to offer her money.
Trowers has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and was detained at Shelby County Jail. She was since released on her own recognizance.
Trowers and Tatum share a child whom came into the world just months ago. She has appeared on Love and Hip Hop episodes in the past where her relationships with both her father, born Richard Trowers, and her ex are both discussed.
Ironically, Trowers’ mother, Miracle Kay Hall, found herself in a similar situation when she was arrested and accused of shooting her husband. She said at the time that she shot her husband in self-defense. The case was subsequently thrown out.
It is unclear whether she is still employed at the gas station, but either way, what a way for someone to spend their first day at work.
