Since Phaedra Parks exited “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” her fans have been calling on Bravo to bring her back.
Some of the show’s most popular Housewives, including NeNe Leakes, Porsha Williams, Kim Zolciak and Cynthia Bailey have all said goodbye to the series.
In a recent interview, Phaedra was asked whether she’d return to the show.
“I’ve evolved and so I love that the fans want me back, but my children are at an age — The Housewives is an awesome platform but it comes with its issues and so to be a great parent and to be a responsible parent, I think that that would not be a responsible decision,” she told HollywoodLife.
She says she has been approached multiple times to go back: “People ask me. Every year I’m approached at some part of the year but it’s just not something I want to do. I did it for what, 8 years of my life? Both of my kids were born on live TV. It’s a lot. So for all of those eight years, for all of the things that I shared with the world, I think, I will go down in history as being one of the best for that franchise.
NeNe recently said that she would be open to joining the cast. Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross was announced as the franchise’s newest addition.
In September, Kenya Moore alluded to changes behind the scenes.
“[There are] some new faces… and some old faces not there.” she told ET. But Kenya had been hoping for a change in lineup for a while.
“Listen, I’m not a network, I’m not the production company,” she told Hollywood Life in May 2020. “I won’t speak to who should be back and who shouldn’t be back, but I definitely think we need a cast shake-up, I think that we need fresh faces. I think [with] all of the franchises, what keeps them interesting is that you have new people, so I think that we definitely need some new people.”
