Rashida Nicole has publicly called out the child’s father, NBA player LiAngelo Ball, for his lack of involvement just six days after welcoming their daughter, Lilo Legacy, into the world.
In a poignant moment on her Instagram Story, Rashida shared a brief video of their newborn, along with a striking message aimed directly at Gelo: “Poor baby has been on this earth for 6 days, still ain’t seen or heard from her dad.”

LiAngelo reportedly filed for divorce shortly after Rashida announced her pregnancy, leaving her to navigate the final months alone. In a recent post meant to shed light on her experience, Nicole shared that she faced isolation while preparing for Lilo’s arrival, emphasizing that she had to do it all alone.
One especially shocking detail she shared was that, just weeks before giving birth, she was told to change the baby’s name, the one they had settled on early in the pregnancy, because it was too similar to the name of Gelo’s girlfriend at the time. Rashida also revealed that she found out Gelo had not been truthful about his relationship status while they were still living together.
