Rashida Nicole has publicly called out the child’s father, NBA player LiAngelo Ball, for his lack of involvement just six days after welcoming their daughter, Lilo Legacy, into the world.

In a poignant moment on her Instagram Story, Rashida shared a brief video of their newborn, along with a striking message aimed directly at Gelo: “Poor baby has been on this earth for 6 days, still ain’t seen or heard from her dad.”

This revelation adds another layer to what has already been a tumultuous relationship. LiAngelo reportedly filed for divorce shortly after Rashida announced her pregnancy, leaving her to navigate the final months alone. In a recent post meant to shed light on her experience, Nicole shared that she faced isolation while preparing for Lilo’s arrival, emphasizing that she had to do it all alone.

One especially shocking detail she shared was that, just weeks before giving birth, she was told to change the baby’s name, the one they had settled on early in the pregnancy, because it was too similar to the name of Gelo’s girlfriend at the time. Rashida also revealed that she found out Gelo had not been truthful about his relationship status while they were still living together.

The irony of this situation is hard to ignore, especially for those familiar with celebrity drama. This isn’t Gelo’s first experience with co-parenting challenges; he has two other children with reality star Nikki Mudarris (known as Miss Nikki Baby). Interestingly, during the early days of his relationship with Rashida, she reportedly laughed on social media while Gelo publicly criticized Nikki, who was just two months postpartum at the time.

Now, the tables have turned, and Rashida is feeling the weight of neglect from Gelo. This heartbreaking situation has prompted her to issue a public apology to Nikki, expressing gratitude for the unexpected support she received from Nikki and her family during her tough pregnancy.

Rashida Nicole insists her social media posts aren’t meant to garner sympathy.
