Last week, Coi Leray posted a short message on her Instagram, stating that “there’s nothing worse than being cheated on.” She also posted a story on Instagram featuring X’s message: “I believe that people’s actions can make it clear that they have no respect or regard for you, regardless of what they say. Their actions clearly indicate that they don’t value you. When you notice this, take it for what it is. Remember, actions speak louder than words.”
Although she didn’t mention anyone specifically, discussions online rapidly pointed to Trippie Redd, the father of her baby.
Redd has not commented on the situation, but one of his former girlfriends joined the conversation.
The plot thickened when Trippie Redd’s ex-girlfriend, Ayleks, took to social media to defend herself against allegations of being involved in the alleged cheating scandal.
On Saturday (January 25), Ayleks addressed claims of “destroying a happy home .”She posted screenshots of private messages, purportedly between herself and Leray, where accusations flew and tempers flared.
In one exchange, Coi Leray reportedly wrote, “You really [are] a fking loser. It’s so sad. You sell psy, so I wouldn’t even be surprised if you’re still around. And Ayleks replied, “I’m a loser for what? Because your nga [is] on BS while [you’re] pregnant? That [has nothing] to do with me.” Leray hit back, “He said you stink. [I don’t care].” Afterward, Ayleks claimed Redd was “offering to pay” and told Coi to “press the bch he’s cheating with” instead.
The “Live For You” artist later posted a TikTok video addressing the backlash. In the footage, she spoke out against the harassment she has faced, maintaining that she was not involved in the drama.
Despite the chaos, Coi seems determined to focus on her music and pregnancy as she previews a new song amid the drama.
