Gia Harris, known as @giathehousegoddess on Instagram, is rewriting the narrative of mining and community development.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Gia now oversees an impressive 200,000 acres of mineral-rich land in Zambia, aiming to establish a sustainable, community-focused mining enterprise that prioritizes legacy over exploitation.
In a recent Instagram post, Gia shared her vision:
“Busy building a GOLD processing plant and houses for our 25 employees! I’m here breaking ALL Generational Curses for OUR children’s children. We have enough minerals to sustain generations to come! This is about LEGACY 👶🏽✊🏾.”
A Legacy of Sustainable Development
Gia’s land boasts vast resources, including gold, diamonds, emeralds, lithium, platinum, and more. Beyond mining, her mission is centered on uplifting the local community.
She’s committed to providing jobs, building schools, recreation centers, and housing, and giving over 400 children access to quality education and essential amenities such as electricity and water.
Using advanced mining equipment and training programs, Gia’s team is working to create a safe and efficient mining process while ensuring the environment and community are treated with care.
“So far, the land has tested positive for gold, copper, diamonds, emeralds, platinum, silver, lithium, quartz, iron, cobalt, and more!” Gia wrote on Instagram. “We plan to do so much for this community… rebuilding their school and providing water, electricity, and a playground.”
Breaking Generational Curses
Gia’s journey is as much about breaking generational curses as it is about fostering economic growth. By involving locals in the rebuilding process, she’s ensuring that the wealth generated from the land benefits future generations.
Gia’s dedication has garnered praise on social media, with followers inspired by her bold steps toward creating a legacy of empowerment and sustainability.
