Rihanna Named Muse For Dior’s Iconic J’Adore Fragrance

Mark your calendars because on Tuesday, June 18, it was officially announced that Rihanna is the captivating new face of Dior’s J’adore fragrance.

The beauty queen Rihanna is only beginning to rule. Following the success of her Fenty Hair brand, which debuted last week, the celebrity is now assuming a new role as the face of Dior’s renowned J’adore fragrance.

The creator of the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty and Grammy Award-winning artist will be highlighted in a new ad for the luxury brand’s signature scent.

The most recognizable beauty campaign in history is Dior’s J’adore. The packaging for this perfume, which is regarded as one of the most well-liked and best-selling in the world year after year, is almost as iconic as the scent itself.

However, after 20 years of those enduring images, J’adore is embarking on a new chapter. In September of this year, Rihanna will take over as J’adore’s new face and muse.

Photographer Steven Klein shot the campaign, which is scheduled to launch on September 1.

“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission. This scent, which I have known and loved for so long, means so much to women. I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity,” Rihanna said of the partnership.

CEO Véronique Courtois echoed Rihanna’s excitement, gushing, “The unusual talent, audacity, and captivating beauty of this absolute star are the ideal embodiment of dazzling, powerful Dior femininity that transcends generations.”

Courtois continued, “Christian Dior would most definitely have adored her.”

To cement the new collab, Dior posted a photo of Rihanna on Instagram with the caption, “Christian Dior is truly delighted to welcome icon Rihanna, whose wide-ranging talents, remarkable beauty, and universal appeal now embody the world of J’adore.”

Rihanna is replacing Charlize Theron as the face of J’adore.
