Boosie’s fiancée, Rajel Nelson, just gave fans a deeply personal and moving look at the moments surrounding the birth of their adorable baby girl, Sevyn.
The Baton Rouge rapper just welcomed his ninth child, and this time, it’s with longtime fiancée Rajel Nelson.
Rajel took to her Instagram Stories to share a series of incredibly touching clips. The raw, intimate, behind-the-scenes footage had fans reaching for tissues and dropping heart emojis by the thousands.
One particularly sweet video captures an emotional Boosie, sporting a vibrant sweater and chain, gazing with pure love at baby Sevyn nestled in her hospital bassinet under the warm glow of a light. Rajel’s heartfelt caption overlaid on the image speaks volumes: “Thank you for making me a mommy and for being there for me no matter what. We love you, papa 🤍.”
In another raw and real moment, Rajel shared a clip of herself in a hospital gown, clearly overcome with emotion. Tears seem to be flowing as she mouths, “Y’all imma Mama,” complete with those relatable melting and loudly crying emojis.
We even got a precious close-up of little Sevyn’s head, covered in soft, dark hair, simply captioned “My Heart” with a tender white heart emoji.
The final part of Rajel’s story showcased the incredible support system she has. Lying in her hospital bed, wrapped in a pink and black baby blanket, Rajel is surrounded by four amazing women, all wearing matching white T-shirts with names like “NaeCee,” “Honey,” “Nana,” and “Nanny” emblazoned on the back. Standing arm-in-arm, facing Rajel, they radiate solidarity and love. Her caption perfectly encapsulates the moment: “Thank you so much to the women who helped me get through labor and throughout this journey. I love y’all deeply, and so does my sweet baby Sevyn 🤍.”
Of course, Boosie himself shared his own emotional reaction earlier, a tearful and joyful video from the hospital room expressing his overwhelming happiness at becoming a dad again. Laughing, crying, and doing the most in only the way Boosie can, he said, “I’m a daddy again, man. My daughter’s so beautiful. I can’t stop crying.”
He later followed up with a caption full of gratitude and joy:
“SO HAPPY TO BE A DAD AGAIN. GOD HAS BEEN SO GOOD TO ME. BEST FEELING N THE.”
Boosie first shared the pregnancy news back in November 2024 at an Atlanta Hawks game, proudly declaring, “BABY OTW DANCE IM ABOUT TO BE A DADDY AGAIN.”
Now, months later, baby Sevyn is here, and the love is pouring in from every direction.
