Rapper Saweetie is now the newest face for MAC Cosmetics.
“Icy down to my LIPS!!! I’m the new M·A·C Girl and Global Brand Ambassador in town. Stay tuned…” she captioned a post on Instagram.
The “ICY” rapper has been collecting bags over recent months.
Of course, the cosmetics giant couldn’t wait to show off its new ambassador.
“Our new Best Friend 💋,” MAC captioned a video clip. “@Saweetie is the new M·A·C Girl and Global Brand Ambassador. Stay tuned… #MACLovesSaweetie.”
“I’m definitely a MAC girl. I know that’s right,” Saweetie says.
The line is also a nod to her recent collaboration with McDonalds.
Last month, the west coast artist became the face of the fast-food chain’s Big Mac meal.
The meal included a Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, a medium Sprite, and BBQ sauce “Saweetie’ N Sour.”
Saweetie’s unique food blends have often gone viral. We’ve seen the “ICY GRL” rapper create her Hidden Valley Ranch–topped spaghetti, a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos pizza, as well as raw oysters topped with powdered ramen noodle seasoning.
The meal was in “icy new packaging inspired by her own style,” available to order in restaurants, via the drive-thru, with McDelivery, and on the McDonald’s app.
“I really don’t think my concoctions are crazy until I post them and then the internet goes crazy. I’m just like, this is so regular to me,” she told the USA Today, adding that Hot Cheetos on pizza, “That’s middle school days.”
The rapper credited her childhood spent growing up in the Bay Area as the reason for her unique taste in food. “The Bay Area is such a melting pot. You have Asian food and off rip, you have Filipino food, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese food. And then you have Spanish food. And then of course you have soul food,” she told Thrillist.
