New reports reveal that Diddy contacted Kalenna Harper, a key witness, shortly after Dawn Richards, her former bandmate, filed a lawsuit against the music mogul.
Former Danity Kane member Dawn Richards filed a shocking lawsuit against her former boss on September 10 in a New York federal court.
The lawsuit accuses Diddy of sexual assault and other serious offenses, with Richards naming Kalenna Harper, a fellow member of Diddy’s ‘Dirty Money,’ as a key witness no less than 33 times.
Richard also says in the lawsuit that she and Harper witnessed Combs physically abuse his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, on numerous occasions and saw Combs and his associates engaging in illegal drugs and sexual acts with underage girls.
Following Dawn Richards’s testimony, Kalenna Harper took to Instagram to share her thoughts about being mentioned in Dawn Richard’s lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Though Harper wanted to “acknowledge” Richard’s claims, she believed that “some do not align with my own truth.”
“I acknowledge the recent lawsuit filed by Dawn Richard in which my name has been mentioned 33 times. While I fully respect Dawn’s right to recount her experiences, l want to emphasize that her account reflects her personal perspective and should not be interpreted as a universal truth applicable to everyone involved,” she began.
“As this matter is now part of an ongoing legal process, I will refrain from discussing any specific details further,” she continued. “My focus continues to be on my same dedication and positivity that have always guided me. I trust that the legal system will handle this case with the fairness and thoroughness it requires, and I support any process that seeks to uncover the truth.”
But following Diddy’s arrest in New York after a grand jury indictment, Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson reportedly disclosed that Diddy allegedly contacted Kalenna Harper 54 times in a single day.
In terms of timing, the calls reportedly occurred shortly after Dawn Richard filed the lawsuit accusing Diddy of sexual assault and other allegations, naming Kalenna 33 times as a witness.
According to the New York Post, Diddy’s final text message to Harper arrived on September 14, one day after she issued her neutral statement.
